Being the youngest of her mothers three children. Lea fought to provide a better life for her mom and family. In a pursuit to provide better opportunities for her and her family she traveled to New York City at the tender age of 20. Being on her own for the first time alone was challenging. But if you knew Lea you knew Lea was a "Fighter". She manage to get a full time job at a meat factory all while attending Brooklyn college taking English courses. When she was finish with those courses she also took certified nursing assistant classes. So she could have two jobs to send money and food back to her mom and family back in Haiti. During that time she sent for her older brother to join her in the United States. While living in New York City, she discovered her passion for hair and beauty. While leaving no stone unturned she attended Sarah J. Hale in Brooklyn New York. After excelling in that program she graduated at the top of her class. Lea went on to be a great Business women. Lea opened two beauty salons one in Miami and one in Orlando. Lea was dedicated to her business as well as her family and friends. She always made sure everyone was taken care of. Lea was the kind of woman if you were shirtless she would give you the shirt off her back and share her very last with you. At the age of 25 she became a mom to her handsome son Guidry. Born with a heart condition as well as sickle cell anemia. As a single mom Lea did a great job all while working and traveling back and forth to the hospital. While that was a hard pill to swallow Lea never gave up her hope and faith and love for Jehovah. Lea later on sent for her mom to reside in New York with her. There she received the much needed support from her brother and mom. Lea was overwhelm and happy to be reunited with her mom. One of the greatest moments in her life. Lea than relocated with her family to Miami where she gave birth to a beautiful baby girl , Amenda. In Miami she continued to perfect her craft as a Cosmetologist. After several years she moved to Orlando for a fresh start, she showcased her entrepreneurship by opening a restaurant by the name of "C'EST CI BON". There she also opened A&G Precision hair salon. Which was the Heart of the community. After Retirement she went on to spend her later years with her family and most of all her grandchildren Ellie and Amelia. I say all of this to say that to know Lea is to love her....... Her Jokes Her Beautiful smile and her wonderful stories in which she loved to tell. How do you say goodbye to someone like her..... You don't you keep her in your heart, You remember that contagious beautiful smile you remember those excellent memories you shared with her. If it's one thing Lea wanted you to take as a life lesson is when life gets tough turn to Jehovah .
