In loving memory of Lisa Francesca Andre Sunrise 12/30/74 - Sunset 8/13/22 Lisa was born in Manhattan, New York to loving parents, Olive Geissie Marcel and Lesly F. Andre, on December 30, 1974. Lisa was diagnosed with Sickle Cell Trait at nine months old by the specialists at Kings County Hospital, Brooklyn, NY. Lisa attended Sacred Heart Catholic School in Jersey City, NJ and graduated from St. Catherine of Genoa in Brooklyn, NY. We then moved to Florida where she attended North Miami Beach Senior, H.S. She was a majorette and graduated from Miramar H.S., Miramar, Florida. She attended Broward Community College and obtained an Associate Degree in Nursing Education, also pursued paralegal courses and became a licensed paralegal. She also attended Sheridan Technical School and acquired her license as Director of Early Education. Lisa began her career as a Legal Assistant at the Law Office of Paul K. Schrier. Throughout the years, she worked at Broward Health, Advanced Chiropractic Medical Center and Miramar United Methodist Preschool. Due to her medical history, she was unable to fulfill her career goals. Lisa was loved and was an awesome soul. She was a caring, compassionate, devoted, encouraging, loving and understanding individual. Lisa admired and loved her mother and father dearly. Her son, Brian L. Sanon was her heartbeat and she loved him unconditionally. She was the oldest of five siblings, Richard G. Boutin, Harry P. Thezan, Darah G. Cotton and Kimberly Andre. She was so proud of them and of their accomplishments. She loved and cared for her family. Lisa was a strong believer of God, her faith in the Lord was extraordinary and her strength unbelievable. Regardless of her pain and suffering throughout the years of her life, she always had a beautiful smile on her face and had encouraging words for anyone who needed her help. Lisa had touched so many lives and was loved by everyone. In her spare time, she loved to crochet, do crossword puzzle. In spite of all the troubles she was facing, Lisa was in the process of publishing a book. She is survived by: Her mother, Olive Geissie Marcel Her father, Lesly F. Marcel (Parrain) and Godmother, Ketty Andre Her brother In-Law, Anthony Cotton, Jr. Her Sister In-Law, Jerometta Boutin and Savannah Alvarez Her Aunts, Uncles and Cousins Special Thanks to St. Fort Funeral Home, Memorial Regional Hospital, Jennifer Boreland, her healthcare surrogate, Dr. Midasiru A. Carew, her PCP for the past 15 years, all the staff members at NHR Sickle Clinic specifically, Joyce Brownlee, ARNP, Rose Pierre-Louis, RN, Dr. Pascale Gehy Andre, Dr. Michel Vulfovich, hematologist, Dr. Nelson Aldanna, Pulmonologist, Dr. Robert Hawver, Dr. Phillip Finlay, Gerline Brutus of Kasa Champet and Serge Alexandre of Le Boulanger. To the families, Marcel, Andre, Thezan, Kernisan, Cotton, Gousse, close friends and all others afflicted by this unfortunate loss.
