Joseph Madhere

Joseph Michel Sardy Madhere was born on March 19,1950 in Baraderes, Haiti, the youngest child to his parents, Clement Madhere and Celia Videau Madhere. He was treasured from an early age by all who loved him, including his siblings, Gaston Madhere, Berthony Madhere, Fanes Madhere, Zianne Madhere, Emie Madhere, Carmelot Vicent, Irma Madhere, Verna Madhere, Pierre Madhere; as well aa lifelong friends, Miche Madhere, Yves Jean-Louis, Georges Luxama, Yves Francois, Phillip Eberle, Anne-Marie Clermont, Esta Louis, Manita Beaujour, Yali Zamore. He lived a full life in which he touched so many lives by forging great relationships with people from all walks of life starting with classmates and friends at Ecole National des Baraderes, Lycee Petion and later at in Haiti at Laroche school of accounting where he earned an accounting degree, Faculte des Sciences Economics, and at Lindsey Hopkins Technical College where he also studied accounting. Joseph was fluent in multiple languages not limited to English, Creole, French, and Spanish, he also understood Latin and Greek. Throughout his life, he lived in Port au-Prince, Haiti and Miami, Florida. In his retirement, his aspiration was to return to Haiti to live with his first love, his wife of 52 years (together for a total of 56 years), Franchette Madhere, and his brother, Pierre. On October 11, 2022, Joseph Michel Sardy Madhere died at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, Florida. He was 72 years old. He will be remembered for his love of music, playing the guitar and the keyboard, collecting electronics, his passion for politics and debates, and more importantly, his love of God and his devotion to prayer. Joseph is survived by his spouse: Franchette Madhere; his sons and daughters: Wix Madhere, Hill Madhere, Astride Madhere-Jean, Sandy Madhere-Jean-Baptiste; his grandchildren: Kevin Legagneur, Stacy Legagneur, Bryan Jean-Baptiste, Vanessa Madhere, Kevin Jean, Jashri Jean, Stancy Jean-Baptiste, Kayla Madhere, Shanelle Jean-Baptiste, Sydney Madhere, Matthew Madhere, Victoria Madhere, Darnell Jean-Baptiste, Chloe Jean, Jayden Madhere, Darwin Madhere, and Matthew Madhere; his great grandchildren: Micah Jean-Baptiste, Akari Jean-Baptiste; his sons and daughters-in-law: Dinah Madhere, Holly Jean, Dadnick Madhere, Panel Jean-Baptiste; his only living brother: Pierre Gerard Madhere; his sisters-in-law: Rose-Annie Vincent, Rose-Marie Madhere; his brother in-law: Nicholas Francois, Rosbelt Cajou, Olson Francique; his mother-in-law: Lucianie Francois; and his nieces and nephews: Lunie Madhere-Dorival, Mackinley Madhere, Windyse Madhere, Gerald Madhere, Edwing Madhere, Nadia Madhere, Richard Vincent, Ruth Vincent, Carline Vincent, Fritznel Vincent, Verna Jr Madhere, Carla Madhere, David Madhere, Moise Madhere, Ronald Madhere, Rachelle Madhere, Leslie Madhere, Marie-Alice Madhere, Ginette Madhere, Reginald Madhere.
