Wendy Joseph

Wendy Joseph was born on January 31, 1972, in Brooklyn, NY to Lily and Gerard Antoine-Pierre and passed away suddenly on March 19, 2023. She was 51 years old. Wendy served in the field of healthcare as a phlebotomist. She attended Our Lady of Refuge Catholic School in Brooklyn, NY for her primary education and remained close to many of her primary school friends including her best friend and “macomere” Nadeige Jean Francois-Joseph. Wendy moved to Miramar, FL in the year 2015. Wendy grew up with her five sisters: Marie-Ange, Maud, Yvrose, Marie Carmel, and Pearl. Wendy was a beloved mother of two children. Her daughter Najwa and son Wendell. She was also a grandmother of two granddaughters: Jailyn and Kamryn. She was also an aunt and great-aunt to many nieces and nephews: Tracy, Audrey, John, Sheena, Maximillian, Dimitry, Tarzmaya, Caressa, Maxine, Juasheena, Kylo, Christopher, Aamir, Messiah, Sydney, Kyrie, and Benetto. As well as godmother to Jahtia Napier. Many would describe Wendy to be a “social butterfly” as there was no one Wendy would not befriend. Her personality was warm and welcoming and she would go out of her way to ensure whomever she was around was always in good spirits. Wendy loved to cook, and travel, and she never turned down the opportunity to socialize with family, friends, and loved ones. In her recent life, Wendy found her “niche” when she discovered her talent for mixing and creating delicious and unique specialty cocktails. She developed this talent into an amazing business strategy that allowed her to share both her wonderful personality and her wonderful cocktails. “Dilightful Dilly’s” was born and on November 5, 2022, Wendy launched her first Dilightful Dilly event. It was a great success. She is survived by her two children: Najwa Joseph and Wendell Joseph, as well as, her two grandchildren: Jailyn Humphrey and Kamryn Humphrey. She is also survived by her mother Lily Antoine-Pierre; her four remaining sisters: Maud Antoine-Pierre, Yvose Antoine-Pierre, Marie Carmel Joseph, and Pearl Roger; her brothers: Gerald Francoise and Loubert Antoine-Pierre, as well as, her two brothers-in-law: Wiss Joseph and Hershel Abellard. Wendy will forever be missed by her great many aunts, uncles, cousins, close friends, and everyone who loved her.
