Reginald Antoine Robin Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Reginald Antoine Robin was born July 26, 1999, at Manatee Memorial Hospital in Bradenton, Florida. He was the second child of Gena Joseph and Frederick Robin. He grew up in both the Bradenton and Miami area. He had a great childhood and was loved by every member of his family and all his friends. He attended Oneco Elementary. As he transitioned to secondary school he attended four different Middle Schools, Electa Lee Magnet Middle School, St. Lucie West K-8 Middle School, Miami Edison Middle School and finally John F. Kennedy Middle School. He went on to attend North Miami Beach Senior High School. Reginald, also known as Reggie aka “Unc”, loved his family and friends. He enjoyed spending time with them during family gatherings. He was the life of the party. He was silly, loving, and a caring young man. He spent most of his free time with loved ones, sometimes playing the Play Station 5. During his short life, Reggie always knew to make a smile appear on anyone's face when they felt unhappy. Reggie’s passing struck everyone like lightning without warning. He was a healthy young man with a life full of goals ahead of him he had set out to accomplish. Unfortunately, his life was taken from him before he had the chance to fulfill them. Reggie was gunned down in North Miami on May 31st, 2022. No one ever thought that we would be here today, commemorating his life. Reggie was not taken away from us by a terminal illness, but he was taken from us by another well-known epidemic factor, gun violence. It is such a shame that people, especially our young people, find it hard to resolve differences through communication or non-fatal means. Let Reggie’s passing be a moment of reflection for us all, a moment to come to our senses, understand that tomorrow is not promised. It is not a cliché; it is a fact. Therefore, live mindfully and sensibly. Reggie will be reuniting with his sister Younece Robin and grandparents: Vernicia Joseph, Vixamar and Elodie Joseph in Heaven. Reggie is survived by his parents Gena Joseph, Frederick Robin and Step-Father Wilson Bregilus: his siblings: Vernisha Robin, Keith and Kaliyah Jonathas, Cedrick and Carlrick Robin. He is also survived by his Godmother Geraldine Wilson, Godfather Anee Guerrier and grandparents: Julien and Sylianna Jeune, Casmir Robin, Ilodie Joseph and Vanessa Brewer. He is also mourned by many friends and families: the Joseph family, the Bregilus family, the Jeune family, the Petit homme family, the Fertil family, the Boucan Family, the Santiaguè family, the Loriston family, the Aubin family, the Robin family, the Azor family, the Edouard family, the Brewer family, the Mcneal family and the Lopez family.
