Marie Delivrancia Sonceau

Marie Delivrancia Sonceau was born to Soirine Pierre and Paulimus Eugene at Dondon, Haiti on May 24. 1953. She was the second born of 9 children which help raise all her youngest siblings. At a young age, she left her home town Dondon to continue her study in Cap Haitian. She was a teacher for 20 years in Haiti, and do food services work for many years at the coastguard when she joined her husband in the United Stated. She was a teacher at heart, that was a gift from Jehovah. She had the ability to teach to anyone and you’ll be able to understand. She got married in 1976, and gave birth later to three children, Diada Sonceau-Pierre, Marialex Sonceau-Cantave, Mitchelo Sonceau. She a wonderful mother to her three children and many others that were not her biological kids. She took her motherhood job very serious and was very proud to be a mom. She known by many as Dede, and used to be called Lolorte by some family members and close friends. She was a very loving person., she loves Jehovah and enjoyed going out in preaching service. She very patient, she was very forgiving, she was very generous, she caring, she was funny, she loves helping people, she did not like to see people suffering, it was very easy for anyone to spend time next her regardless of the age. She enjoyed reading the bible, walking, doing house chores, she was great cook, she used to find lots of joy in cooking, she loved feeding people. She also enjoyed sewing and altered clothing for her children, family, and friends. She was a people person and enjoyed spending time with friends and family. On March 21st, 2024, our beloved Mother Marie Delivancia Sonceau passed away at Clovis Community Medical Center in Clovis California. She is preceded in death by her husband Joseph Alex Sonceau; her Mom Sorine Pierre; her dad Paulimus Eugene; her brother and sister: Toussaint Eugene Philobert Eugene, Francois Eugene, Fleu-Aimee Eugnene, Francoise Eugene, and Antoinette Eugnene. She survived by her three children: Diada Sonceau-Pierre, Marialex Sonceau-Cantave, Mitchelo Sonceau; her grandchildren: Gemson Cantave, Jomany Pierre, Alexa Cantave, Lottie Sonceau, Tchelo Sonceau, and Dasha; sons in-law: Johnny Pierre, and Dgems Cantave; her brother: Antoine Eugene; her sister Heureuse Eugene, her aunt and uncle, all her nieces and nephews, cousins, and a host of family and friends.
