Antoine Mocombe

Antoine Mocombe was born on October 6, 1949, to parents: Saul Mocombe and Anna Jean-Louis in Borgne, Haiti. During his youth, Antoine loved playing soccer and fell in love with the game. Antoine Mocombe was a chef, carpenter, painter and all around handyman for most of his life. He was a respected and avid member of First Interdenominational Haitian church and known for his love and dedication for Christ. Antoine was a beloved devoted family man, who loved his wife Irida Mocombe; children: Obed, and Schedna Mocombe, and grandchildren: Khaliyah Smith, Cadence and Cameron Mocombe above all else. His beautiful sense of humor, genuineness, helpful hand, insightful, easy to talk to, caring, patience, willingness to take the shirt off his back for others, made him a cherished and loyal friend to many. On Sunday, May 7, 2023, at 4:48 am God took his angel wings and placed them upon Antoine as he lifted him up to heaven. His time on Earth has been completed and his mission accomplished. Although his time on earth is done in the physical his memory will continue to live in our hearts forever. Antoine Mocombe is survived by: wife Irida Mocombe; children: Obed Mocombe, and Schedna Mocombe; grandchildren: Khaliyah Smith, Cadence Mocombe, And Cameron Mocombe; siblings: Lobanie Mocombe, Marguerite Janvier, Mauze Mocombe, Paul Mocombe, Micheline Jacques, Serge Mocombe; nieces and nephews: Marie Francois and family, Carmeline Paul Louinis, Winifred Paul, Alexandra Paul, Jacqueline and family, Jocelyn, Jean-Claude Francois, Nelta Janvier, Loudie Janvier, Celine Janvier, Paul Janvier, Huguette Janvier, Linda Janvier, Rodlyn Francois, Rodney Francois, Regine Francois, Rochelle, Francois, Loudie Francois, Paul Camy Mocombe, Nicholas Mocombe, Geraldine Mocombe, Jessica Herrera Mocombe, Annabelle Jeune, Junior Jeune, Bibo Jeune, Sylvie Jeune; cousins: Simeon Apolon, Elvie Mocombre, Marie Victor, Belot Dulcio; brothers and sisters in-law: Alina Altidor and family, Varilia Noel and family; friends who became family: Augustine Meteyer and family, Doizira and Marieta, Leah Therlonge, Lunia Decius and family, Eugelene Bernard, and the families of: Mocombe, Janvier, Jean-Louis, Francois, Dulcio, Altidor, Jeune, Louis, and Apolon.
