Wilphen Aurelien

Wilphen Aurelien was born to the late Emily Eugene and Offrande Aurelien on February 4, 1934, in Saint-Louis du Nord, Haiti. He was the oldest child of a family of 7 children of whom three are still alive. Throughout his entire life he always maintained a great relationship with his siblings and spent most of his time with his siblings, cousins and other distant family members. After completing high school Wilphen migrated to Nassau, Bahamas where he worked as a chef for many years between restaurants and cruise ships. While traveling back to Haiti he met the love of his life Martha and after a few months of courting they got married in 1966. Wilphen and Martha had their first child Irfenia unfortunately, she passed away at 6 months old. A couple of years later they welcomed their second daughter Julienne and a few years after their first son Louiphene. In 1980 Wilphen moved to Miami and Martha later joined him and at that time they then had their last two sons Dawson and Widly. Wilphen had a passion for cooking and entertaining people. Wilphen was a lovable people person, very charismatic, he loved to joke, he was a storyteller, extremely fashionable and debonair. He loved being around his family and friends. Wilphen was a hard worker, a very loving husband, father and grandfather. Wilphen was God fearing, had a very giving spirit and was affectionally nicknamed Phen- Phen, Cool and Grandpa. Wilphen became ill and went through many treatments, however his condition worsened. Unfortunately, he had to be rushed to Jackson Memorial Hospital North where he passed on January 3 rd , 2023. As we mourn his departure, we are saddened yet rejoicing that his suffering is over and that his soul is resting in security in the arms of his heavenly father. Wilphen was loved by many and left his family behind. Wife: Martha Aurelien Children: Julienne (Baboune), Louiphene (Tiphen), Dawson and Widly Grandchildren: Fedner, Juelz, Kiara, Nicholas and Jadore Aurelien, Benjamin, Serenity and Wayne Saint- Fleur Son & Daughter in law: Kedeler Saint Fleur, Sandy Jean-Jacques Aurelien, Bonita Fils-Aime Aurelien Siblings: Amers Desolomme, Desama Casimir, Elvita Saintil Brother & Sister-in-law: Alius Francois, Louisandor Saintvil, Mme Vadius Francois, Evelina Casimir, Nanote Casimir Bonus daughter: Fedithe Francois He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends..
