PHILOMENE RIGAUD

Philomene Rigaud, lovingly known as Fifi and Manmi, a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and matriarch, passed away peacefully on December 27, 2025, at the age of 76 in North Miami Beach, Florida. Her life was marked by faith, strength, humility, and unconditional love. Born on November 4, 1949, in Cap-Haïtien, Haiti, Philomene was the daughter of the late Anocles and Francoise Docteur. Deeply rooted in her Haitian heritage, she carried the values of resilience, devotion, and respect throughout her life. She later settled in North Miami, Florida, where she built a home filled with prayer, warmth, and care. Philomene was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Yvon Rigaud, whom she now joins in eternal rest. Their marriage was a testament to loyalty, partnership, and enduring love. She leaves to cherish her memory her children, Kerlyne Rigaud, Sammy Rigaud, and Judith Massena; her daughter-in-law, Mackenzie Rigaud; and her grandchildren, Kaycee, Gabriella, Destiny, and Roshawn, who were the pride and joy of her life. She is also survived by her brothers, Lormeus Docteur and Dameus Docteur, along with countless nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and friends in the United States and Haiti. Philomene was known for her quiet strength, nurturing spirit, and unwavering faith in God. She was a caregiver by nature, always placing family first and offering love through her actions rather than words. Her home was a place of comfort, guidance, and prayer. A woman of deep Christian faith, Philomene trusted God through every season of life. Even in times of hardship, she remained faithful and resilient. Her life was a reflection of grace, perseverance, and service, leaving a legacy that will live on through generations. A visitation will be held on January 17, 2026, followed by a memorial service at Hope Church of the Nazarene, 8288 Biscayne Blvd., Miami, FL 33138. Burial will take place at Caballero Rivero Southern, 15011 West Dixie Highway, North Miami, FL 33181. Though we mourn her passing, we rejoice in knowing she is at peace, reunited with her husband, and resting in the arms of the Lord. “Well done, good and faithful servant… Enter into the joy of your Lord.” — Matthew 25:23
