Paul Peter DeJesus Siguenza

Paul Peter DeJesus Siguenza of Miami, Florida passed away on Monday, May 29, 2023, at the age of 65. After several weeks of declining health, Paul died peacefully with his beloved wife Fely, son, granddaughter, brother Albert and sister Julie and family by his side. Paul was born on June 28, 1957, in Tamuning, Guam to father John Fred Siguenza and mother Antonia Tudela DeJesus. He is the six oldest of 13 siblings. He moved to Miami in 1981 after he met and fell in love with Fely Rafael. On July 13, 1981, they were joined together in holy matrimony and from that union they had one handsome son Julius John Rafael Siguenza. He has one granddaughter, Jalynn Berbin. The simplest pleasures in life brought great fun and joy to Paul. He loved fishing, biking, basketball, baseball, bowling and just running around with friends and family from playing marbles, hide and seek to playing tag on a huge tree jumping around like monkeys from one tree branch to another. He was a showoff with awesome talents like kart wheels, back and front flips, silly (suave) dance move, singing karaoke, showing card tricks and most of all husking coconuts with his teeth. Paul became a member of Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church of Christ) in 1980 at Sacramento, California. While here in Miami he was a dedicated Scan Officer who secured the premises of the church grounds and kept the safety of the congregation and visitors. He greeted each member and visitor at the door; he would easily make a person feel welcome even if it was the first time meeting. Sharing stories of jokes, words and lessons from God but most especially, his dedication of his duty and responsibility as a servant for God and Church. Paul was a loving and devoted person, the heartbeat of their family, he took care of everything and everyone making sure all was done with love, care and laughter. His smile and laughter was contagious, his spirit, love and care for everyone showed his character and more. Whether it was cooking, talking and listening he showered you with his humor. Paul was a faithful man who loved the Lord, his family, church, and community. Paul touched so many lives in so many ways and will truly be missed. Paul is survived by: his wife Fely R. Siguenza, son Julius R. Siguenza, granddaughter Jalynn Berbin, his siblings, and a host of loving family and friends.
