Marie Auguste

Marie Maude Auguste was born on May 2, 1951 in a little village called “La Boule” in the town of Croix-de-Bouquets, Haiti to her parents (predeceased): Saint Gardien Michel and Carmen Souffrant. Modo (as she was affectionately called) attended school at the Salvation Army “Lafferonnay”. As her mother, early on, she developed a deep affection for business. She was a very good saleswoman in Haiti. Maude married her husband of 46 years, Jean Marcel Auguste, on November 26, 1977. They knew each other from a very young age. In 1982, her husband came to the United States. She was finally reunited with her husband in the US in 1994 after waiting faithfully for 12 years. They’ve had the privilege of spending a lifetime together filled with love and devotion to one another till the day the Lord called her home. Although, they did not have biological children of their own, Maude was a loving mother to many in her family. Her most frequent phrase was; “I’m going to Cam to send money to Haiti”. She loved and supported her family as if they were own children. She was a hard worker and devoted employee. Maude’s loved her so much and spoke so highly of her. Her boss, Paul, has nothing but praises for her. She worked her current job for over 25 years. Most Importantly. Maude dedicated her life to the Lord at a very young age. As a faithful member of Emmanuel Baptist Church, she spent her life living for Christ. We will forever miss Maude and her memory will continue to live within us. Marie Maude Auguste is Survived by: Husband: Jean Marcel Auguste; Siblings: Yolande (deceased) Tertulia, Eugenie (deceased), Loussaint Nieces: Esther, Marie Phillipe, Marie Elmarte, Marie Lourdie, Soeurette, Rose Darline, Marie Michelle, Marie Camsuze, Jocelyn, Judith, Widly, Viviane, Homeline, Magda, Rose Esther; Nephews: Nickson, Patrick, Daniel, Blanc, Ronald, Jean Gardy; Cousins: Elizane, Antonine, Roger, Gaspard, Andacia, Altina, Felisma, Christine Auguste; Brother-in-Law: Jean Andre Auguste; Sister-in-Laws: Mezilia Auguste & Paulette; Friends: Frantz, Pierre, Carmel, Hermite, Paul, Work Family, Tony, Sultana and a host of other relatives and friends.
