John Fitzgerald Forte

John Fitzgerald Forte, also known to his close friends and family as Fitz or Fitzou, was granted his wings on 12/26/2022 due to multi-system organ failure at the age of 48. He passed away surrounded by his immediate family at his bedside. John was born on 1/1/1974 at Mount Sinai hospital in Miami, FL to his predeceased father Ferdinand Forte, and mother, Egla Forte. John attended St. Mary’s Catholic School during his elementary school years before heading off to John F Kennedy Middle school in North Miami Beach. He graduated from North Miami Beach Senior High School in 1992 before studying at Miami-Dade College. He had a true love for technology and worked in IT for much of his life. He worked at Tracfone for over 20 years before transitioning to working in Real Estate. He most recently found his way back to IT, working with Trulieve, and loved being back in the IT field. John was someone that everyone could depend on. He was the type of person that would sacrifice everything to help those he loved and respected. Whether he visited you at your home to fix your computer, needed to have late-night business meetings with the guys, or if he just picked up extra hours at work, he was always willing to assist. Even if you just needed someone to listen to what you were going through, he was there and ready to listen. He has been everyone’s therapist at some point in time! He always wanted to see everyone winning and becoming successful. Although he was seen by most as serious and straight to the point, he was truly a funny guy and loved to make people laugh. His laugh was so contagious, you could not help but laugh along with him! If you knew John, you knew that he loved sports. His favorites were basketball and football and wrestling. He always enjoyed watching wrestling with his father. In his downtime, you may find him playing video games on his Xbox. He was always listening to podcasts or audiobooks to gain knowledge about real estate, finance, stocks, or business. John was always an aspiring entrepreneur seeking ways to become financially independent. In 2005, he met his long-time girlfriend, Lindsey Morey of 17 years and was devoted to her, and took the lead as a father figure to Lindsey’s daughter, Caterina Rivera. John loved Lindsey and Caterina with all his heart and would do anything for them as they were also his family. John was predeceased by his father Ferdinand Forte and is survived by his mother Egla Forte, and sister Fernande Forte. John is loved forever and will be missed by family, friends, and coworkers Rest in Peace John.
