Job Lazarre

On June 16, 1971, the beloved Job Lazarre was born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, to Jeanine Louis and Djo Maurice. He was the second of six children from this union. Both of his parents preceded him in death, along with his beloved wife, Andrea Elliott-Lazarre. Affectionately known by some as “Paul,” Job was raised and educated in Miami, Florida, where he attended schools in the Miami-Dade County Public School System. He graduated from Miami Edison High School and went on to attend Miami Dade College, earning several certifications and licenses in fields that reflected his wide-ranging interests. Driven by a lifelong passion for learning, Job explored various fields of study, including aviation, automobile technology, and healthcare. His pursuit of knowledge ultimately led him to a dedicated career at Jackson Memorial Hospital, where he served faithfully as a PCT for many years. At the heart of Job’s life was his family, whom he often described as his greatest achievement. He married his longtime companion, Andrea Elliott, and together they raised three children. Job also lovingly embraced the role of father to Andrea’s three older children and adopted her nephew, further extending his legacy of compassion and commitment. To his friends, colleagues, and community, Job was known as a dependable, supportive, and generous soul; always willing to lend a helping hand. He carried himself with quiet strength, deep passion, and his impact can still be seen in the faces of those who knew and loved him. Job Lazarre’s life was one of quiet dignity, unwavering love, and service to others. He will be deeply missed but forever remembered. On August 19, 2025, Job departed this earthly life leaving behind a legacy of love, happiness, and smiles. He leaves to cherish his memory: his children: Jobmisha Lazarre (Meme), Joshua Lazarre, and Paula Lazarre; stepchildren: Robert Elliott, Chiquita Elliott, Christina Cadet, and adopted child-Deverick Potts; grandchild: Chrissy Jones; step-grandsons: Antwan Elliott, Antonio Elliott, Fred Hudson Jr, Lyric Coleman, and Malik Mills; step-granddaughters: Harmony Coleman, Farah Hudson, Faith Hudson; aunt: Esthella Thadal; sisters: Admalene Maurice, Adeline Campfort, and Chrislene Don; brothers: Wilner Compfort and Kerly Don; nephews: Bernard Clemenceau, Stevenson Maurice, Schneider Campfort, Jededyah Don, Wilderson Compfort, and Wilnoah Compfort; nieces: Virginie Maurice, Stephanie Campfort, Vasty Saurel, Marie-Laure Don, Ginette Saurel, Darnisha Compfort, Kermily Don, and Keity Don; step son in-law: Fred Hudson Sr. As well as a host of honorary, coworkers, friends, and loves one.
