Born on August 25, 1949, in Pignon, Haiti. He moved west to Port-au-Prince in his teenage years to further his education. He worked as a mechanic and joined his nation’s armed forces. He embarked on a courageous journey that shaped him into the remarkable man we know and love. His journey to the United States was filled with triumphs and hardships. Seeking a better life for himself and his family, he arrived in Florida in the late 1980s, armed with a strong spirit and unyielding determination. With his infectious smile and warm heart, Breus quickly became an integral part of the community, forging lifelong friendships along the way. His unwavering work ethic led Breus to numerous employment opportunities, including working as a security personnel, and holding various positions across numerous industries. His dedication and commitment to providing for his family knew no bounds. He worked tirelessly to ensure they had the opportunities he dreamed of. Beyond his professional achievements, Breus’s true legacy lies in his role as an excellent father and devoted husband. He met the love of his life, Marie, in his hometown of Pignon, and they married in February 1978. Together, they built a life filled with love, support, and unwavering devotion. Their home was always open, and their table full. Breus’s kindness extended far beyond his immediate circle. He was known for his involvement in religious activities, and he was a man of faith. Breus’s compassion touched countless individuals, and his selflessness inspired all who knew him. In his spare time, Breus cherished moments spent with his family. He enjoyed creating lasting memories, whether it was through his gardening expertise, sharing stories at social gatherings, or attending his children’s school events. His love and dedication to his family knew no bounds, and his legacy will continue to live on through the values he instilled in them. Breus’s indomitable spirit and unwavering hope have left an indelible mark on our hearts. While we mourn his loss, we know his spirit lives on in the memories we shared with him. Breus is survived by his loving wife, Marie Rachelle Rock, his sons, daughter, brother, sisters, and grandchildren.
