A smine Joseph

On a beautiful Wednesday morning, Asmine Joseph, was born on May 18th, 1977, in the beautiful city of Port Au Prince, Haiti to the proud parents of Gusman Joseph and Solange Charles, the second child of three children. Asmine and her brother Samuel, always took care of the household and their youngest sister, Chela, when their mother needed help. Asmine grew up in the kitchen alongside her mother, where she gained a passion for cooking. The journey to school wasn’t simple for Asmine, but she still managed to push through and graduated from Faustin First High School, in Haiti. Upon graduating from high school, she went on to culinary school, named Maison Menagere, located in Haiti, to pursue her dream of becoming a chef. On December 13, 2001, she came to the United States, and later gave birth in 2002 to her oldest son, Edwalsh Lormond, there she started a new life as a dedicated mother. Life was good, and while enjoying the pleasures of motherhood, she was blessed on December 5th, 2003, giving birth to a beautiful daughter, Rhea Lormond. As time progressed, she was blessed with her third child, a handsome baby boy whom she named Ased Lormond. Asmine was a very hard-working mother providing for her children, and helping the less fortunate as best as she could. Asmine dedicated her time and talent to many organizations in various capacities for many years and was a dedicated and committed employee to those whom she worked for and with. Asmine came to a decision that there was a great void missing in her life, so she decided to dedicate her life to Christ and was baptized in 2010, at the Northside Seventh-day Adventist Church. She later attended the Hebron Seventh-day Adventist French Church, located in North Miami, Florida. She dreamed that “as a big family, we should never be divided from each other” but instead, come together as one and love each other unconditionally. Asmine loved her family very much and dreamed that one day she would have a chance to go back to Haiti, but God had a bigger and better plan for her life. She leaves behind her husband, Guily Charitable, children Edwalsh Lormond, Rhea Lormond, Ased Lormond and son-in-law Jacorey Mullen, who she loved as her own. Father, Gusman Joseph, and mother, Solange Charles, cousins Laura Joassaint and Junior Joassaint and a host of family and friends. Her last words of comfort to all would be “Don’t cry for me, don’t shed a tear. The times I shared with you will always be; but, now I’m gone, please carry on... don’t cry for me. This is not goodbye, but see you later”.
