Yves Barthelemy

Born on February 15, 1972, in Bainet, Haiti, Yves was a beacon of strength, wisdom, and resilience throughout his life. His life’s journey was a testament to his indomitable spirit, and his legacy is evident in the lives he touched, the stories he told, and the love he shared. Yves moved from Haiti to South Florida in 2001, and it was here that he laid down his roots, building both a career and a home filled with love and warmth. He was known for his innate ability to touch lives. His compassionate spirit led him to help people in whatever way he could – whether it was offering financial assistance, imparting wisdom, or merely lending a listening ear. This spirit of generosity extended beyond his immediate circle, and he was often seen helping strangers in need, a testament to the size and warmth of his heart. From his native Haiti to every corner of the world, he ventured into, Yves carried with him an infectious zeal for life and a deep appreciation for every moment. His laughter was contagious, his wisdom profound, and his compassion boundless. In the midst of our grief, we find solace in the memories we shared with him. We remember his penchant for storytelling, his love for the rich tapestry of Haitian culture, and his passion for connecting with people from all walks of life. Yves believed in the power of unity, love, and family. In his own unique way, he wove these principles into the fabric of his everyday life. On August 4, 2023, the Lord summoned him home. It is with profound sorrow that we bid farewell to this remarkable soul, we embrace the values he held dear and pledge to keep his memory alive. He leaves behind his beloved wife, Lydia, who was his partner in every sense, supporting and walking with him through every twist and turn of life. His two children, Emerode and Jayden, carry forward their father’s legacy of kindness, determination, and grace. Yves is also survived by his mother, Enna, who was a pillar of strength and inspiration throughout his life. His departure leaves a void that cannot be filled, but his memories and the indelible mark he left on so many lives will continue to inspire and uplift. He will be deeply missed by family, friends, and all those fortunate enough to have crossed paths with him.
